Newly renovated with a vintage modern design, The Cabin at The Greenbriar Inn is a quaint cottage perfect for romantic getaways, anniversary celebrations, honeymoon stays, a bridal suite prior to your Greenbriar wedding, or as home base to explore beautiful Boulder County. This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom home was originally built around 1873 as 2 separate cabins with stones handpicked from our land for the gold and silver miners working up the canyon. The rustic 1 room cabins also housed members of the community of Altona (the original town that The Greenbriar Inn is located in), travelers moving through the area, and was even rented to firefighters in the early 1900’s. In the 1970’s the cabins were combined into one house and continued to be used as a rental.
The cabin has been given a complete makeover. While keeping the original footprint of the cabin and restoring the original stone walls, the interior has been upgraded with top-of-the-line appliances and materials. Including a full kitchen, 3/4 bath, cozy bedroom, living space and French doors leading to a private patio with mountain views, The Cabin at The Greenbriar Inn is now available to be enjoyed by everyone!

Wow! What a beautiful cozy cottage. The restoration was done beautifully and it had everything you need and more. It was so clean — I am impressed! Emma was wonderful to communicate with — very friendly and attentive. Thank you!
The grounds are enchanting, the cabin where we got ready and stayed after the wedding was so warm and welcoming, the food was exquisite, the drink’s delicious, and the staff were hands down the best and truly cared about our experience.
We also chose to rent the cabin which was gorgeous! We used the space for getting ready/bridal suite, then as a quiet area for an infant/babysitter during our reception, and finally for a little mellow after party and honeymoon suite!
