The Greenbriar Inn Turns 50!

The Greenbriar Inn is turning 50 this year and to celebrate this milestone we are planning monthly events such as drawings, featured menu items from the past and special multi-course dinners. Our February drawing will be for our award-winning champagne brunch for two and in March we will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to two lucky winners. To enter these drawings, simply fill out a comment card each time you come in. All cards will also be entered into our grand prize drawing on December 1st for a holiday feast for eight guests!
Beginning in March and every other month we will feature some of The Greenbriar Inn’s most popular menu items from the last 50 years. March’s throwback menu specials will be Lobster Thermidor and Baked Alaska flamed tableside. Both of these selections began appearing on our menus as early as 1967. April's throwback menu specials will be Chateau Briande for Two carved tableside and Black Forest Torte. Stay tuned for more information on these selections as well as April's giveaway.

Greenbriar Garden Update

We are laying out our garden plan and getting ready to start our 21st season of production with our on-site natural herb and produce gardens. Our three gardens total 7,000 sq ft. and are located right outside our back door. Last year we planted around 50 items including favorites such as tomatoes (10 varieties), peppers (8 varieties), squash (9 varieties), beets (golden and chioggia), zucchini, arugula, rainbow chard, raspberries and blueberries as well as more interesting things like Japanese eggplant, horseradish, lemon thyme, tri-colored carrots, purple beans and currants. Stay tuned for a complete list of what we plant this year! Until our first harvest, our chefs will continue to utilize many of our garden items that were preserved last fall by pickling and drying as well as incorporating the pestos, jams and compotes that were created. Look for these garden ingredients in all of our menus as they become available. Learn more about our gardens

Wedding Cake and Wine Tasting

We are looking forward to our annual wedding cake and wine tasting on April 1st from 12pm-3pm! All of the brides and grooms and their families who have booked a wedding at The Greenbriar this year are invited to sample our pastry chef's amazing cakes and to view different wedding cake designs and styles. Featured wines will also be available for tasting and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. If you are planning a wedding with us, be sure to look for your invitation by email and don't forget to RSVP!

Handwritten Wines Tasting Dinner

Join us on Sunday, April 9th at 6pm for a fantastic wine dinner featuring Handwritten Wines. Handwritten Wines is a boutique Napa winery producing wines from some of the iconic regions of Napa Valley and Santa Rita Hills. We are excited to be offering these wines paired with a nine-course tasting menu created by our new chef, Martin Woods. Philip O’Connor, formally a Greenbriar Inn sommelier, is now the managing director of Handwritten Wines and will be hosting this incredible evening. Before joining Handwritten, Philip completed his MBA from Bordeaux International Wine Institute and worked with the Lurton family to start Trinité Estate Winery in Chalk Hill, Sonoma. We are so pleased to have Philip back in our grasps, showcasing these highly allocated wines available only through the winery or special events. Don’t miss this amazing dining experience and have an opportunity to join the Handwritten Allocation Circle. Colorado Dines Out For The Arts

Join us as we participate in Colorado Dines Out For The Arts on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. 10% of our total sales for that day will be donated to the Future Arts Foundation to help provide musical instruments and art supplies to public schools and students all over Colorado. Enjoy a lovely meal and feel good about supporting such an instrumental part of a child's education- the arts! 

Easter Sunday Brunch

Join us on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 for our Easter brunch buffet. Enjoy our award-winning brunch complete with unlimited champagne or up to three Bloody Mary cocktails for $45 per person or choose just the buffet for $36 per person ($16 for children ages 3 to 10). In addition to the amazing and delicious breakfast and lunch items, a large selection of decadent desserts as well as Silver Canyon coffee, hot teas and house brewed iced tea are included. We are extending our brunch hours on Easter Sunday and will be seating from 10am to 4pm.
We will be closed for dinner.

University of Colorado-Boulder Graduation Weekend

Congratulations! The Greenbriar is an excellent place to celebrate this special and memorable event. Since this is a busy time and space does become limited, we suggest that you book your reservations as early as possible. To reserve a private luncheon or dinner party for 15 or more guests call us for details.

Mother's Day

We will be serving both brunch and dinner on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14th. Brunch will be served from 10am to 2:30pm. The champagne buffet brunch is $45 per person and includes unlimited champagne and sparkling cider. The buffet brunch only is $36 per person. Children ages 3 to 10 are $16. Dinner will begin at 6pm, and will feature our seasonal a la carte dinner and dessert menus, as well as Mother's Day specials. Make your reservations now and give mom the love she deserves.

Thanksgiving Eve

Make your reservations now for Thanksgiving Eve on Wednesday, November 22nd! The night before Thanksgiving Day we will be offering our full Thanksgiving turkey entrée as well as holiday desserts. Have your turkey early and beat the crowds or indulge in two days of turkey because it's that good! Our regular seasonal dinner and dessert menus will also be available.

Thanksgiving Day

Join us on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23rd for one of the most anticipated dining events of the year. Our traditional turkey dinner is $27 ($13 for children 10 and under), comes complete with all the fixins’ and includes second helpings. A festive selection of our seasonal dinner menu and holiday desserts will also be available. Seatings are from 11:30am to 7pm and reservations are required.

Holiday Celebrations

The Greenbriar Inn is a wonderful place to celebrate the holidays! We are now booking holiday parties of all sizes. Whether it’s an intimate party of 10 or a grand event of 200, we'll help you celebrate in style. Celebrate with a post-work cocktail party, a multi-course dinner with dancing, or a decadent champagne brunch and let our experienced staff make your holiday event an occasion to remember! Christmas Eve

Join us on Saturday, December 24th for a delicious Christmas Eve feast. Seatings are available from 4:30pm to 8:30pm and we will be offering our seasonal menus as well as festive dinner and dessert specials. New Year's Eve

Celebrate the end of 2016 and toast the beginning of a new year on New Year's Eve, December 31st with a spectacular six-course New Year's Eve tasting dinner. Choose from our innovative and delicious menu selections to create your own tasting menu then sit back, relax, and enjoy! Sparkling wine is also included and reservations are available from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Happy New Year!

Valentine's Day

Celebrate Valentine’s Day and treat your special someone to a romantic dinner or brunch at The Greenbriar Inn. We will be serving a special multiple course prix fixe dinner menu on Valentine's Day, February 14th and reservations are available from 5pm to 9:30pm.
